For the past 23 years, the Boulder Chamber Business Women’s Leadership Group has honored women who have made significant contributions through innovations and a committed effort to address a meaningful business, nonprofit, arts or community need.

On Monday, the 2019 Women Who Light the Community honorees were announced.

Honorees include Stephanie Carter, founder of Wallaroo Hat Company; Rebecca Chavez, director of admissions and outreach for Front Range Community College; Frances Draper, vice chancellor for Strategic Relations and Communications at the University of Colorado Boulder; Geri Mitchell-Brown, director of employee experience at Namasté Solar; Paula Nelson, co-founder and board chair for the Parent Engagement Network; Paola Garcia Barron, a junior at Boulder High School.

The Chamber will celebrate them at its 24th Annual Women Who Light the Community gala dinner celebration on Sept. 5.
