Boulder startup Huck Adventures recently won the Denver Founders Live pitch competition, according to a company news release.

Huck Adventures is an outdoor recreation app that helps outdoor enthusiasts connect and  learn from each other.

The outdoor startup was awarded $20,000 in Google Credits, $5,000 in Amazon Web Services Credits, and access to the Google Cloud for Startups program by an audience vote.

“We’ve been bootstrapped since we began building this app last year, so this award is going to help drive us forward. We’ll be able to round out what we’ve built so far and deliver more features to our growing community,” Ben Nelson, founder and CEO, said in a statement.

Founders Live pitch competitions are held in Denver and other select cities to ignite local entrepreneurial activity, as well as inspire, connect, and educate entrepreneurs.
