Meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Boulder Riverside (1724 Broadway)

Consistent with the city’s commitment to provide regular updates on Local Power, it will host an Aug. 28 public meeting to share the latest work related to the development of a local electric utility. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m., at the Boulder Riverside (1724 Broadway).

Director of Climate Initiatives Steve Catanach will provide an update on the project, including condemnation, engineering and the Colorado Public Utilities Commission.

The city will also provide information on the city’s climate work, including City Council’s Climate Emergency Declaration and the September launch of the process to create a Climate Mobilization Action Plan.

Light refreshments will be provided. Guests are encouraged to RSVP.
