We have two mango tables from West Elm. The first coffee table is whitewashed, unfortunately it has several dark water stains in it. Does anyone know how to get these out? Blow drying doesn’t work (and didn’t when they happened). I read that you use wood bleach for dark stains but I can find any information on if this is ok to use for mango wood, and if so how that will affect the whitewash.

The dining table is brand new and is raw mango. West elm said that it comes with a protectant finish, but I want to be sure that we don’t have the same water issues as we had with the coffee table. Literally ANY water that hits the coffee table seemed to leave dark stains within minutes. Is there anything we should protect the raw mango with that won’t leave too much of a shine?
